My mental well-being
Welcome to this chapter of Jacob's Journey to the Far East. Here, I reflect on the challenges, daily spiritual practices, and mindfulness routines that guide my personal growth and keep my mind anchored through school and life.

Balancing protective and risk factors
Understanding what builds me up and what weighs me down is essential for self-development. My protective factors—like honest communication with peers, regular self-reflection, and intentional downtime—shield me against daily burnout. By recognizing risk factors such as academic pressure, negative self-talk, and isolation, I actively strengthen my support systems to overcome obstacles and maintain steady mental health.

Prayer, mindfulness, and emotional balance
Devoting time to God and praying is the core foundation that sustains my personal journey. Meditating quietly calms both my physical body and my spiritual self, giving me the patience to regulate my emotions constantly throughout the school week. Taking those pauses brings clarity whenever life starts feeling overwhelming..

Finding release through badminton and friendship
Playing badminton is my favorite way to release stress, stay active, and clear my mind. Stepping onto the court gives me space to recharge. Equally important is opening up to my peers. Being vulnerable, sharing what I feel, and listening to others proves that we never have to face tough moments on our own. Sometimes, we just need someone to guide us to the right path.
"No matter how hard the challenges that you are facing, God always has his ways. Your problem today is just another story tomorrow. Showing your weakness does not mean you are weak."
